SUPERCOMPUTER

I Look out of my window and see the sky closing in on me.It’s  all dark and quite.Only the clicking of the keyboard and the mouse. Yes I am on line!!"I love this phrase It’s music to my ears Yes I am Blogging He!He!He!.  :)   .

I was Thinking about  blogging about aero-nautical engineering. I’m just kidding. He!He!He!

The difference between mediocrity and ecxellence is attitude; This is perhaps the best advice ever, but the most difficult  to follow. The brain is the most powerful machine in the world. It has more capacity than the most powerful supercomputer, yet an average person hardly utilizes four to five per cent of its productive capacity.

Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character……….Albert Einstein.

Most people find life difficult to cope with as they get bogged down by issues in their personal and professional life,Turning into bitter, caustic synics. There must have been times when you,too ,would not take up anything because you had already decided that it will not happen.I know I’m not going to pass this exam,I know I’m not going to get that job."I need to lose weight.but I can’t .Everyone keeps telling me exercise or walking daily will help, but I know it won’t work for me.Nothing ever does"

To cut a long story short,"All the things you say you cannot do or will not happen for you are reflective of your negative attitude.Thinking negatively will keep you from getting the things you want or being where you want to be in life. The only person who can take all that negativity out of your life is you.

The most important thing you can do is have a positive train of thought about every situation. What you think is what will happen.Positive thoughts is a must to succeed.

Here are 8 steps to help you raise your self-esteem.(feel good  about yourself.) take control of the way you feel about yourself

1. ENJOY RISKS: Remember that without risk, there is no progress. If you don’t try something new, you will never know anything  different about yourself.learn to a risk-taker in at least some  aspect of your life.Taking a class or learning something new will make you discover new things about yourself.

2.VISUALIZE SUCCESS: Imagine that your goals have been achieved.(of course, most of us rarely accomplish all goals that we set for ourselves)but if you want to do something or have something, you can visualize it and get energy and motivation out of it.My friends, it helps the dream become reality.

3.SHARE GRATITUDE: Remember to thank people who have helped you or who are helpful to you.You will feel better about yourself  if you.compliment other people for their accomplishments.Whether it is your child or someone else’s, a friend who needs a boost,or someone you admire or perhaps has helped you in  some way,you will learn  that boosting in others in others is important as well.It says good things about you if you are able to acknowledge the strengths and triumphs in those around you.

4.TREAT YOURSELF AT NIGHT: Make your bed time a happy time, quite time.We all must deal with chaos around us,but everyone should make an effort to set aside some part of the evening for him/herself.You must learn to create a heaven around you,to nurture yourself and to treat yourself well. After all,my friends if you don’t create a sense of calm around and about you .who will?Always feel tomorrow will be better, and many times it is.

5.CREATE A BUDDY SYSTEM .We all want to cry over somebody’s shoulder.Find a strong and sincere shoulder.Invest in true friends.Take care of their problems,be there for them and they will be there for you.Select them carefully and nurture your relationships with them In return, you will get tremendous sustenance.

6. ACCEPT FAILURES: Don’t give up!You know, we all sometimes goof up, ( I do a lot of that He!He!He!),make mistakes, become embarrassed or confused in front of other people.SO WHAT?Most people feel the same way. It’s a rare person who never makes a mistake. The best thing to do is to persevere when we start something.Maybe we will not like it once  we are finished, but we will still feel better about ourselves for having finshed it and followed through on a commitment.

7.TRACK YOUR PROGRESS: Outline your personal goals. keep track of them through index cards or similar system to list exactly what it is you want to do with life,This can be easily updated and changed on frequent basis. Our lives are constantly in a state of change,so our goals will experience similar changes.

8. HAVE FAITH: Remember what Eleanor Roosevelt said : "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."You need to become your best friend and biggest fan,Every one needs a cheerleader, and if you don’t happen to have one, then do it yourself!Talk yourself up.Always believe that God  allmighty is fair and generous, and some day, somwhere,he will compensate you.

………………………….

A man was being chased by a lion, and he knew escape was impossible and so the man, who had never  been particularly religious(In fact this just happened to be sunday morning),prayed,"God, if you make this lion a Christian I will be happy with whatever lot you give me for the rest of my life"

The lion was no more then four feet away  from the man when it stopped dead in its tracks….looked up to heavens quizzically and then fell to its knees and prayed in a loud voice,"O lord, bless this food of which I am about to partake"……  :)   .

Wish you well

GREATER-BETTER-WEALTHIER

Yes I am on air! He!He!He!

Is it  then not true that the media is controlling our minds  along the lines it demands and we have ceased to think for ourselves?

Labels made,we strive to fit into them whether they fit us or not.We celebrate every festival, even if it doesn’t conform to what we believe in,just to match the definition of tolerance.

But I ask the question, how many of us ever stop to think why we are doing what we  do?Or is it  that the thinking has already been done for us?Is there a preset mould that we simply have to step into? And  if so who has made it?

Our lives,in themselves, seem to have a touch of artificiality and illusory aspect to them. And this is not only in our own selves but also in the world that we have created around us.Take  the example  of our immediate world. Our rooms, office, etc…are scented.not with fresh air or flowers but artificial aerosol sprays that are harmful to our enviroment.A healthy dietary intake means orange-flavoured vitamin drink.Where are all the oranges? For the benefit of longer shelf life, even our milk is robbed of essential nutrients, through the Ultra heat treatment. We consume so much chemicals for  what?Where is the purity and naturalness in our life?

We are living in a world  of illusions and myths where we allow multinationals to tell us what’s good for us.All the chemicals and processed foods we take in,give rise to fatal diseases, of which cancer is just one of them.Yet, death is  something so far and removed from us;somethingthat happens to the elderly and behind shrouded white curtains in hospital room where nurses have been known to close their patients eyes in anticipation of death.

To protect ourselves from reality,we have enclosed ourselves in isolated worlds and restricted our lives to matters only important to us.Sitting in our comfortable,air-conition homes with every luxury within arm’s reach,He!He!He!.how can we ever imagine squalor and unbelievable poverty, fathom hundreds of children dying due to lack of food or medication?Peace begins when the hungry are fed, lies in our wider freeways but narrower viewpoints,in our taller buildings but shorter tempers. It is a constant race to the top,to achieve the myths of success, popularity and material wealth. The doctrine we seem to be following is "GREATER,BETTER,WEALTHIER",But what about inner contentment?I thought attainment of that, too, fell into the framework of success. But alas! We have every material desire fulfilled, but our hearts and souls are  empty.Mindlessly sucked into commercial world, our sensual appetites are crammed with colour and sound until we are stupefied, alienated from reality and senselessly take in and are nurtured by whatever is fed to us.

Controlled by our most primitive desires, capitalism exploits our sexuality by using  it to sell goods.People dress up to look like others, hankering after heroes"made" by media hype, but who are in reality very different from their public profiles. We spend our leisure time in front of television, videos, dvds,or computers watching other people"live life"or do the things, we would like to do,but can’t because we don’t have enough time! Our opinions are painted for us through media outlets, until we cease to be independent thinkers. How many of us can lead our lives independend of modern technology,if only for a week? He!He!He!

How far will we go before everything starts crumbling?Or has it already begun?Despite having every amenity available to man,we are still suffering internal conflicts; suicides, crime, murders and conflicts.

Our human needs remain;we satiate our bodies  with the richest foods, but we seem to ignore the fact that our souls need nourishment, too. It’s perhaps due to our over indulgence with luxuries and comforts of this superficial world of passing fads and entertainment that we forget our true purpose in life.

It is within us that,  we need to recognize ourselves  and go real deep inside our souls to find the answer.peace within ourselves can be achieved when we recognize our purpose in life and worship what created man,not what man made.

as I said I ask the question :)   .

Wish you well :) .

I read this  some place and thought to share it with you my friends.

A man travels to spain at the time of the "running of the bulls" festivals.

He goes out to dinner in the town centre and  orders the house special and he is brought a plate, with potatoes, corn, and two large meaty objects.

"What’s this"? he ask.

"Cojones.senor" the waiter replies.

"What are cojones?" the man asks.

"Cojones"the waiter explains."are the testicles of the bull who lost at the arena this afternoon"

At first the man is disgusted, but  being the adventurous type,he decides to try this local delicacy. To his amazement,It is quite delicious. In fact,it is so good that he decides to come back again the following day and order it again. This time the waiter brings out the plate, but the meaty objects are much smaller.

"What is this"? he asks the waiter.

"Cojones, senor" the waiter replies."

"No,no," the man objects."I had cojones yesterday and they were much bigger than this"

"Senor"the waiter explains,"the bull does not lose every time" He!He!He!

PEACE AND HARMONY :) .

A Cuppa and yes my friends. I am blogging. I am on air :) He!He!He!

"Peace be with you"…..The Bible: Genesis XLIII.23.

"And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks;nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."…….Isaiah 2:4.

What the world needs today is a civilization that is based on love and compassion, and not on competition.A civilization that is not dying to be victorious, but which is keen to live with peace .

NOWADAYS terrorism, war and human killing are in vogue.Powerful nations control the less powerful nations as their right.Humanity is suffering at the hands of brutal politicians. There is no peace in the world and within the self.Innocent children are asking their parents, teachers and friends what is going on around them.Everybody is in search of peace.Where is peace ?

The world religions long ago defined peace as individual responsibility for wellbeing of others. Let us remind ourselves of that  forgotten lesson and reflect on how everyone of us individually can cotribute towards peace in the world? So why is everyone not at peace worried for one or another thing.Peace means freedom from war and unrest.

The new  testament defines peace as "an orderly obedience to the eternal laws of GOD"so peace in the God’s city is the perfect union of hearts in the enjoyment of God (19:13).The salutation of peace frequently appears in the New Testament.

In the Quran, the Arabic words Salam has been used for peace. It has been generally used as a greeting or salutation. In the Quran,God calls human beings to the abode of peace in this life and in the next(10:26)The Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon Him)said asslamalaykum,or peace be upon you,at the beginning of presenting his message of revelation to the humanity.

The Quran has recommended returning  the greetings with additional blessings. The greetings of peace exists in all religions,This is not a word just to repeat, but an invitations for an action to be performed,to create happiness, serenity and unity in this world.

The purpose of human beings, creation is that they should  do well in the world. They should not consider themselves as a substitute for God and think that they can make and unmake the moral laws at their convenience for their selfish reason. As we can see,all religions of the world teach lessons of peace. Then question arises my friends, why are the  followers of these religions of peace fighting among themselives? We should also reflect on what we have done wrong in the past that has resulted in terror, war and calamities.

Is this right? you tell me He!He!He!

"School  children are taught not to help one another, not to prompt their classmates who do not know the answer, but to concern themselves only with getting promoted at the end of the year to win perhaps in competition with fellow pupils. And these poor selfish little creatures, who are mentally exhausted, they find  themselves in later life like separate grians of sands in the desert, each one is isolated from his neighbour and all of them are barren. If a storm comes up,these little human particles, who possess no life-giving spirituality, are caught up in the gusts and form a deadly whirlwind."

Now we live in global village. The time demands that our natural act of thinking need to be modified by the phenomenon of international culture. We my friends have learnt how to extend geographically and politically.but have paid little Attention on cultural variety with which we are surrounded. And you can only do this by "Overcome the angry by non -anger,overcome the wicked by goodness;overcome the miser by generosity;overcome the liar by truth…….Dhammapada.

"The Holy Prophet Muhammed( s.a.w) came into this world and taught us :That man is a Muslim who never hurts anyone by words or deeds, but who works for the benefit and happiness of God’s creatures.Belief in God is to love one’s fellow men .

When a certain community is destroyed,in reality it destroys a part of us,So there should be clear recognition that the entire humanity is just one family.Any conflict within humanity should be conidered as famly conflict.

Like Albert Einstein said "Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding :)   .

This has been going  over and over in my mind today.

Wish you all well

And for those fasting Ramadhan

Wish you all a happy Ramadhan.  :)

And what is Ramadhan? Ramadhan is the ninth month of Islamic calender and is a month of heightened devotion.Ramadhan is above all an opportunity to reorient oneself to the creator and the natural path of goodness and God consciosness Welcome the month of Ramadhan.(Want to know more?) He!He!He!

Now for that walk ( the air is a bit nippy)

COMPASSION=HAPPINESS

A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe,a part limited in time and space. He experience himself, his thought and feeling as something separated from the rest,a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness..This delusion is a kind of prison for us,restricting us to our personal desires to affection for a few persons nearest to us.Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of COMPASSION to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

Albert Einstein…….

If you want to be happy, practice compassion. If you want others to be happy ,practise compassion. Both reason and compassion guide our efforts to apply that knowledge ethically,to understand other people, and have ethical relationships with other people.

So how does one aquire happiness :) ..

Happiness is really a state of mind.It does not come along with objects, which give comfort and pleasure.People who possess many luxuries of life are still unhappy.Happiness comes from "SATISFACTION". If a person does not feel satisfied,he will not be happy. One may be rich but if his riches do  not make him contended  he will never be happy.A person may be happy if he is just able to make ends meet while another will not be happy even if he is playing in money. This is because the former is contended while the latter is not.

Contentment, therefore is a necessary condition for happiness .

A very important source of happiness is good health. To  be healthy is a great blessing and therefore health and physical well being spell happiness.Without a healthy body, happiness would be difficult to find.To be employed in the field  which interest’s you is also a source of happiness. To be  able to do what you really love to do means happiness.Engage yourself in  activities which interest you it will contribute to your happiness.Do good things for others and you will derive mental satisfaction from it.when a man does another  man a favour.he not only makes the other happy but himself happy too .Misfortunes come in everybody’s life and they rob you of all your happiness. However there is no Misfortune  so  great that you cannot find somebody else’s misfortune greater than your own.If we only look at others less fortunate than ourselves,we shall be able to forgate our miseries or atleast bear them with fortitude. This too is a secret of happiness,Nobody really cares if you’re miserable,so you my friends, you might as well be happy :)   .It’s pretty hard to tell what does bring happiness,Poverty and wealth have both failed.my friends "Gather the crumbs of happiness and they will make you a loaf of contentment

Ask your self this   "Am I  content?"  (Are you)?

WHY THIS GENDER

Once I traveled through three different  countries and saw this :)

man dressed as women or cross dressing,

cross-dressing is the act of wearing clothing commonly associated with another gender, this term has  been used throughout history, historical examples are everywhere In the Greek mythology,

Achilles dressed in women’s clothing at the court of lycomedes

Thor dressed as as Freya in order to get Mjolnir  back in Prymskvioa.

We have them in all society,In streets of both city and villages everyday,we come across them several colourfully-dressed,shy and naughty people called cross dresser

What are they male or female? Or why Allmighty God has created them in the first place.I think they  belong to the third gender or sex.

But interestingly, there is no such thing as third sex in developed countries. But developing countries has them,I saw them on buses at weddings, newborn etc, Now those who believe in Allmighty God knows, nothing that has been created without a purpose,The question, then is why did he  create people without a definite gender.

Minor anomalies of genitalia in newborns, such as hypospadias.bifid scrotum and fused labia are sometimes laballaed as ambiguous by  inexperienced, or untrianed quacks.A child in the third  world  suffers .carries the stigma for the whole of its life, never thinking  that he/she is a perfectly normal MAN/WOMAN.

we have a very important responsibility to our fellow human beings.

Most of us are fortunate that God has made us perfect men or women.

so my friend we  owe a lot to those who are not,Try and make this world a heaven for ourselves, then we have to make the same for others. This can only be achieved if we feel the sufferings and miseries of the people living around us.

Now you tell me the third sex : myth or realty :)

Wish you all a nice week

Now for the walk He!He!He!

INNER JOY

What we lack is a good  laugh.Gone are the days when laughing ones head off did not use to be such a big deal. When people sat together and talked incessantly for hours and always got up refreshed. And when chatting and sitting with each other was a form of entertainment, and not a way to cultivate ulterior motives by building personal relations.(look around you my friends ).

Today one only yearns for the hearty laugh flowing from the fountain of inner joy and pleasure as the source of that  fountain rushing  through the spring of HONESTY,LOVE,SACRIFICE. He!He!He!  :)   .

However that fountain has now been muddled by hatred, selfishness  and above all hypocrisy……  (which  one do you place on top of the list?)….He!He!He! the carefree laughs thus have now been turned into
pretentious and mocking smiles and smug behaviours .

In short, there used to be no specific time to get together, and have a cuppa :) and chat just for the sake of chatting. All these activites have become things of the past and what remains now is only their reminiscence. Now days we  dont have the time for each other or even when we do get togather,we are so much engrossed in our own selves that we pass the time thinking and solving our own problems. With always an assignmenton on someone’s  head  i.e.office politics, pressure from one thing or another, driving in traffic, late hours at work, wanting more of what you don’t need. The carefree interactions have zoomed to zero.Further, the humilty and love of the past have been replaced by pompous pride and selfishness. Our self-built egos are so fragile that they can easily be shattered into pieces by casual remark of criticism or jest.My friend," Patience and consideration for each other are now abandoned traits"

Lives now have become more complex. The marathon of competition never seems to end. There is competition in everysphere of life ranging from which educational institute you are from,to what one eats, wears,to cut a long story short. Everything is now categorized into branded and unbranded. We have simply forgotten how to enjoy life in its orginal and simpler form and mistakenly confuse comfort with happiness and wealth with success.Apart from other things, the simple activities of the past have now taken material shape. The time  that used to be spent among family and friends by enjoying chats and with a cuppa or sharing jokes is now spent by watching television or sitting in front of the  computer. He!He!He! right

"These material things have become a part and parcel of our lives leaving no time  for our dear loved ones or even for our selves.

The small gatherings at the dinner table or ones lounge were not merely a pass time but also used to play a great role in personality  and character building of young children.Remember children will soke up all that is around them what you do today they will do it tomorrow ,If you are offering them good than good it is ,if you are offering them selfishness and bad than it will be  just that(dont let it be too late for them(they deserve all the best you can give them and my friend that is happyness with it comes laughter He!He!He! :) .

lets make an effort towards a better society what we should all do now is make tolerance and love a part of our general attitude, not only to our family but towards all that was created.Nevertheless, aggression and violence can be avoided if we only stop criticizing and expecting from others only.Just a little rational attitude embedded in love and understanding is all that is needed.Do good ,feel good. He!He!He! :) .
